Eatala: A Life in Klezmer

The public is invited to watch the premiere of a new Philadelphia Folklore Project documentary about Elaine and Susan Watts -- third and fourth generation klezmorim. After the screening, attendees will a concert and party with Elaine, Susan and other special guest musicians. The Hoffman family has had a major impact on Philadelphia musical culture for a century and Elaine and Susan continue to break new ground. Presented by the Philadelphia Folklore Project, in collaboration with Crossroads Music This will be one of several preview events for a future Philadelphia Jewish Music Festival being planned by the Gershman Y, Crossroads Music, and area musicians.
