A Taste of Israeli Culture

For ages 32 and younger. Co-sponsored by Birthright Israel. Falafel, the Dead Sea, Ethiopian immigrants, reality TV and Orthodox enclaves. These are just a few of the components that make up Israel, a land of challenges, contradictions and cutting-edge culture. This six-week class will give you a taste of some of the major issues and trends happening in Israel right now. Designed for participants age 32 and younger, these lively and discussion-based classes, led by native Israeli instructor Ayala Guy, will provide you with new insights into this still young nation. Instructor: Ayala Guy, Temple University.
