    Friday, August 27
    6:30 p.m.: Live capoeria demonstration by Philly’s own ASCAB Capoeira at the Historic Shambles on 2nd between Pine and Lombard Streets.

    Saturday, August 28
    11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Pickles the Clown will offer face painting and temporary glitter tattoos for the kids.

    12:00 p.m.: Angelica Cassimiro and Friends – 3 professional Samba dancers – will perform throughout South Street, beginning at noon.

    1:00 p.m.: Xande Cruz – a traditional Afro-Brazilian musical quartet whose sound has been described as samba meets rock – will perform a 70 minute set.

    3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Tween sensations and South Street Street Performers Kate and Bina will play special cultural pieces.

    Saturday and Sunday, August 28 & 29
    Priscilla Costa, a Philadelphia fashion designer will be teaching a jewelry design class, with a focus on using fuxico, an extremely popular and easy Brazilian design technique. Time and cost TBD.
