The Chapin Sisters
October 28, 2010
Growing up in a musical family that included folk singers (the late) Harry Chapin and his brother Tom, Abigail and Lily Chapin emerged on the scene a few years ago when their acoustic rendition of Britney Spears' pop hit "Toxic" became a favorite on the internet. Since that brief time as an internet sensation, the duo has continued performing across the nation, and released an EP and a full-length album (both of which included half-sibling Jessica Craven). They also received major media coverage, including spotlights from KCRW, PBS, and the New York Times. Along with helping She & Him on their current tour, the sisters are prepared to spend all of this fall on the road and hit a town near you.
