Settlement's Distinguished Alumni Recital Series showcases former students and celebrates the School's role in shaping and nurturing their talents. Ann Hobson Pilot, harp with Tai Murray, violin Featuring works by Debussy, Donizetti and Saint-Saens, among others. An accomplished harpist, Settlement 100 honoree Ann Hobson Pilot is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music under Alice Chalifoux. She became principal harp of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1980, having joined the BSO in 1969 as assistant principal harp and principal with the Boston Pops. She remained with the BSO until her retirement in 2009. Samuel and Elaine Lieberman Auditorium, Germantown Branch.
