Come stroll the downtown streets and enjoy refreshments, browsing, art openings, live music, and dining in Historic Kennett Square. Art Stroll’s take place the first Friday of every month and are just one of the many events happening in downtown Kennett Square. The First Friday Craft Market is a juried outdoor "makers" marketplace featuring a plethora of functional and wearable handmade craft. Patrons of the First Friday Craft Market will have an opportunity to meet a rotation of local artisans and buy unique, often one-of-a-kind treasures produced within the region. The Farmers Market hosts special first Friday vendors and live local music every month. Bring your reusable bags and taste What's Fresh: fruits and vegetables, Amish baked goods, flowers and potted plants, European breads, artisan cheeses, home-made jams and jellies, grass-fed meats and BBQ, and more. Live performance at The Kennett Flash. Come and walk the tree-lined streets, browse delightful independently-owned shops and dine in nationally-recognized restaurants. Situated in the beautiful Brandywine Valley in southern Chester County, the downtown is about three miles from world-renowned Longwood Gardens. This small town offers plenty of cultural and recreational activities and combines elements of tradition with a commitment to revitalization.
