Airy’s September First Friday is an ideal way to unwind from the week, and gear-up for the holiday weekend. Join the fun as Mt. Airy’s eclectic shops, art galleries and restaurants extend their hours to 9 pm. One of the region’s hot spots, Mt. Airy, an earthy and diverse nook of Philadelphia, is experiencing a steady revitalization—and has attracted dozens of new businesses in the last several years. Mt. Airy has the look and feel of Main Street America in an urban setting. On weekends, diverse crowds in growing numbers come together on The Avenue in Mt. Airy for civilized fun.
