Paste Paper: Patterns and Textures
October 23, 2010
Paste paper is one of the earliest forms of decorated paper, originating in Europe for book covers and end papers. Create beautiful, one-of-a-kind decorated papers by drawing into pastes and pigments with a variety of tools, such as rollers, sponges, combs and stamps. Create elaborate patterns and textures on paper that can be used in all types of artwork, including collage, painting and bookmaking. Be prepared for a very messy, but fun experience! Workshop is led by Andrea Snyder.
