Steve Forbert arrived at the height of the New Wave music explosion in the late 70s with a batch of down-to-earth acoustic songs with heartfelt vocals and engaging melodies. He scored major hits with two back-to-back career-defining albums (Alive On Arrival and Jackrabbit Slim) and a hit single in "Romeo’s Tune". The intervening years have witnessed an artist as determined as ever to follow his own path that has delighted audiences eager for truth-telling in the form of the popular song.
