THEATRE

Laughter on the 23rd Floor
April 7-May 8, 2011
In a production that was destined to be, the best comedy team in Philadelphia takes on the mother of all comedy teams in history. Neil Simon’s comedy classic Laughter on the 23rd Floor is based on the legendary writer’s room for the variety comedy program Your Show of Shows. A fictionalized account of how writers Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, Carl Reiner, Larry Gelbart, and others pitted wit to wit to create comedy history, Laughter on the 23rd Floor is Simon’s hilarious homage to the art of bringing great comedy to life.
