Whether solo or leading his eponymous quartet, Salzburg-born Thomas Zehetmair has long been considered one of the most significant violinists of his generation. The Independent priases his ability to "inhabit pieces naturally, seeking out the most expressive nuances of touch and tempo in each bar of the music." His solo violin recital at the Perelman Theater features sonatas by Bach and Hartmann as well as Bach's Partita in D Minor, BWV 1004.
