Hugh Moore Park Canal Boat Ride
June 2-September 5, 2010
The mule-drawn canal boat operates on a restored section of the Lehigh Canal in Easton's Hugh Moore Park. Visitors can meet the mules, learn how to steer the boat and blow the conch shell horn. The regular ride last 40 minutes. Call for information and reservations. Admission to the canal boat ride includes a visit to the Emrick Technology Center and the exhibits on Lehigh Valley industry. Emrick Technology Center admission is $6, and is free to members of the National Canal Museum. The boat is outfitted with above & below-deck seating, restrooms, handicap accessibility, and a canopy for protection from the sun and rain. The boat can be chartered for various events.
