The young virtuoso Lidia Kaminska is on a mission to change the perception of the accordion from parlor entertainment to a serious classical instrument. Her firebrand performances of a broad range of classical and avant-garde repertoire have “caused jaws to drop at concert halls from Europe to the Kimmel Center” (Philadelphia Magazine). Her PCMS debut at the Philadelphia Museum of Art includes works by Bach, Scarlatti, Mendelssohn and Piazzolla.
