Known as the “high priestess of Mozart,” world-renowned pianist Mitsuko Uchida has been a keyboard legend since her famous performances of Mozart sonatas at London’s Wigmore Hall. The Chicago Sun Times said it best in describing this singular artist: “Uchida is, simply, Uchida – an elegant, deeply musical interpreter who strikes an inspired balance of head and heart in everything she plays.” On the program for this sure-to-sell-out recital are Schumann’s Dävidsbündlertanze and sonatas by Chopin and Beethoven.
