Cellist Alisa Weilerstein and Pianist Inon Barnatan
December 13, 2010
At the age of 27, Alisa Weilerstein is already a veteran on the classical music scene, having appeared with the nation’s top orchestras, given recitals in music capitals throughout the U.S. and Europe and performed regularly with her parents in the Weilerstein Trio. Her playing has attracted widespread attention for its combination of natural virtuosic command, technical precision and impassioned musicianship. Her PCMS recital with the ascendant pianist Inon Barnatan (program to be announced) is one of the most anticipated debuts of the PCMS season.
