    Part of the renowned Curtis Institute of Music, the Curtis Chamber Orchestra draws its members from the Curtis Symphony Orchestra and has performed under the batons of Christoph Eschenbach, James Levine, Zubin Mehta, Sir Simon Rattle and Wolfgang Sawallisch, among others. Joel Smirnoff, President of the Cleveland Institute of Music and former Juilliard Quartet violinist, takes the baton for this concert that also features Philadelphia Orchestra principal flute and Curtis faculty member Jeffrey Khaner.
