Susan Benarcik is an installation artist and surface designer whose concern for the environment is made evident in her 3-dimensional sculptural installations. Benarcik’s Why Our Hangers is a three dimensional form made of wire clothes hangers which reinvests interest in unwanted materials of our cultural lifestyles. R. Noel Shaak’s drawings are a journey of discovery fueled by the riches of the earth and the anticipation of a new beginning. Influenced by horticulture and surrealism, Shaak stretches found and imagined realities into new, incredibly detailed worlds ripe for reflection and contemplation. Made on nurseries and farms on eastern Long Island, John Woodin's photographs highlight the incongruity of order in the natural landscape while exploring the relationship between order and chaos.
