Running a grassroots independent record label, touring nationally, recording a new album and working on two musical projects might seem a lot to some, but to Rosie Burgess being busily up to her ears in the music scene comes as naturally as breathing.

With the award of a Victoria Rocks Touring Grant in January 2008 having propelled her around Australia on a national tour, Rosie Burgess has emerged onto the Australian music scene to firmly secure a place for herself and her unique brand of urban folkroots music. Playing straight from the heart, Burgess consistently shows us why she is being called "one of our country's best rising stars" (Coastfest 2008, NSW). The release of her album, Humble Pie ], last year saw Burgess's music hit the national stage, and with radio showing great support for the album, especially Triple J, it has been an exciting time for this passionate musician. With her the release of her highly anticipated, brand new studio album , Wait for the World, Burgess is set to raise the bar again.
