THEATRE

The Producers
July 8-August 7, 2010
In New York, 1959, it's the opening of a new Max Bialystock play called Funny Boy, a musical version of Hamlet. The critics hate it and the show closes at intermission. Max, who was once called the King of Broadway, enlists the help of a mousy accountant, Leo Bloom, and together they cook up a scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Complications arise when the show unexpectedly turns out to be a success!
