Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci and Teri Lyne Carrington tell a new story of Monk, revisiting the music of Pérez's critically acclaimed album PanaMonk. Perez on piano, Patitucci on bass and Carrington on drums create exhilarating music, a joyful blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms with Monk's exuberant sound. Hear classics like "'Round Midnight" and "Monk's Mood" reinterpreted through the influence of Pérez's Panamanian roots. A performance of contemporary jazz artists not to be missed!
