Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Bomba Estéreo make psychedelic cumbia. Formed by Simón Mejía and singer Liliana Saumet in 2005, the group represents a new sound coming from Colombia. The four musicians blend folk sounds like cumbia, bullerengue, and champeta from the Colombian Caribbean coast with electronica, reggae, and hip-hop-producing an explosive live dance sound. Stay after for a free post-show DJ Lounge with DJ Rahsaan of AfroTaino Productions.
