This conference will bring together stakeholders representing city, state and federal government; academia; non-profit organizations; and the private sector for the purpose of sharing information related to the city's current stock of idle lands, the steps necessary to acquire and redevelop them, as well as the many innovative and sustainable reuse options. Intended as a catalyst for action and for the formation of new partnerships among participating organizations, the event will include discussions of real world applications and current research, and will better prepare attendees to engage in sustainable redevelopment activities throughout Philadelphia.
