Carnivorous plants, falling masonry, and uninvited guests fill the unique, imaginary world of artist and author Edward Gorey. His stories and accompanying illustrations maintain a delicate balance between ordinary and the seemingly ominous. Karen Wilkin, author of the exhibition catalogue, Elegant Enigmas: The World of Edward Gorey, which accompanies the current Edward Gorey exhibition, will sign copies on March 21st from 1-3 pm.
