Family Energy Festival
April 18, 2009
Children and adults will discover what energy is, and how we use it in our daily lives. Experience exciting hands-on activities and exhibits, including composting, solar panels, bio-fuels, and locally grown foods. Learn simple strategies for reducing your energy footprint. Exhibitors include DEP, Green Woods Charter School, Postgreen, The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, and more. The Schuylkill Center Artist in Residence Gary Miller and students from the Green Woods Charter School will present their collaborative project, A Meadow by The Green Woods.Maximum charge of $20 per family.
