    Peter Lerangis is the author of numerous books for children and young adults, including Smiler's Bones, a New York Public Library Books for the Teen Age, and the Watchers series, which begins with Last Stop, an American Library Association Quick Pick for Reluctant Young Adult Readers. The Sword Thief is the third installment of the New York Times bestselling 39 Clues series--a new generation of writing for young adult audiences that combines reading, online gaming, and card collecting into a world-wide, whirlwind adventure.
