Lecture-In-Song: America at War
March 22, 2009
Join Fred Miller, pianist/singer/songwriter, in the Ann and Herman Silverman Pavilion of the Michener Museum for a delightful and informative musical and anecdotal overview of the celebrated songs Americans have sung during wartime throughout their history. America at War is an invigorating walk through the American timeline going all the way back to the country's origins, dramatizing how important popular song was to the success of the wars America has had to wage in its short, but glorious 200+ years. Advance registration is recommended.
