Join rock musician and composer Bryce Dessner, of the band The National, for an evening of live music and discussion as he shares the results of a project commissioned by the Rosenbach for 21st-Century Abe, ''Lincoln Shuffle.'' Merging old and new, Dessner has created a series of musical pieces for acoustic instruments that are inspired by popular music of Lincoln's day, but that are designed to be layered, remixed, and reconfigured. The evening will provide a unique opportunity to discover how the musician has interpreted history through his own artistic lens. Please RSVP here: fdawson@rosenbach.org Space is limited.
