Autism Outreach Drama Program
February 21-March 28, 2009
A 6-week drama program created exclusively for children with autism. Teachers will work closely with your student to create an atmosphere of learning and fun while integrating the basic concepts of drama and improvisation. This program is influenced by many different types of therapies and programs for children with autism. Through principles of the Son-Rise approach and floor-time therapy, we tailor our acting lessons and activities to meet the needs of each child. Theatre Horizon provides a program that helps the students feel good about themselves while engaging in dramatic play led by accepting and encouraging teaching artists.
