Grammy Winning Artist Dianne Reeves
March 19, 2009
Back by popular demand, Blue Note recording artist Dianne Reeves returns to the Annenberg Center for a special one-night-only performance. One of today's pre-eminent jazz artists, Reeves's virtuosity and improvisational prowess have inspired countless comparisons to the great Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae. Hailed by The Boston Globe as ''an amazing voice, one of the best that jazz has boasted,'' the four-time Grammy winner takes the stage with standards as well as original compositions from her new album, When You Know.
