Carol Moog Band featuring Don Evans
June 7, 2009
Carol Moog on harmonica and Don Evans on guitar and vocals form the heart of the Carol Moog Band, a group that stirs crowds with fiery and soulful blues, R&B and funky jazz. With performance credits that read like a who's who of Rock 'n' Roll, Don Evans' stage time includes years of playing and recording with Billy Joel, Dirk Hamilton and Eric Burdon of the Animals. Carol Moog, known as ''a huge sound in a small package,'' is a veteran blues player who has opened for such legends as John Lee Hooker, Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Leon Russell, Edgar Winter and John Mayall.
