Gerald Kolpan is an Emmy Award-winning television reporter and former contributor to NPR's All Things Considered. He has more than 20 years experience as a features reporter for Fox 29 News and is a regular contributor to national newspapers and magazines. Etta, his first book, is imaginatively based on the sketchy details of the life of Etta Place, former Philadelphia socialite turned outlaw and paramour of the notorious Sundance Kid. Publisher's Weekly describes the novel as a ''winning tale of the Wild West.''
