May 7, 2009
The Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard University, Cass Sunstein (a former law clerk for Chief Justice Thurgood Marshall) is the most-cited law professor on any faculty in the United States. He is the bestselling author of several books, including Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth, and Happiness (with co-author Richard Thaler), Infotopia: How Many Minds Produce Knowledge, and Republic.com 2.0. His latest work, Going to Extremes, offers insights into why people develop extremist ideas and describes concrete steps citizens and nations might take to halt the drift toward extremism.
