A home of one's own: that's the American dream! But what happens when the dreamers are immigrants, even Communists? Transcending the barriers of race and convention, At Home in Utopia tracks the rise and fall of a Bronx community of Jewish garment workers as they move out of urban slums into cooperatively-owned apartments.

Guest Speakers: Filmmakers Michal Goldman and Ellen Brodsky
