    Second Saturday of the month, Oct - Apr For Ages 6-12. Discover the wonders of the forest through an exploration of trees and other forest plants and animals. On this guided hike, you'll learn about forest structure and how to identify common trees and forest plants. Gain an understanding of the threats to the forests at Valley Forge and the importance of forests for a healthy environment. Scouts - programs can help you meet badge requirements. Program size is limited, and pre-registration is required. Please pre-register at least 3 days prior to program date. Contact: Ajena Rogers, 610-783-1044 to pre-register Times: 10am and 2pm Length: 90 minutes Location: Meet at Artillery Park and hike on Mt. Joy Limit: 20
