John Williams is widely acknowledged as the greatest living classical guitarist, having established his place in the genres top rank over the course of 30 years of recording and performing. He inherited this mantle from Andres Segovia and has held it for almost fifty years. His recital visits to the U.S. have become increasingly rare, so be sure to catch a session with this guitar legend while you still can. His program will most likely feature a selection of pieces from his extensive discography--which includes over 30 best-selling recordings of a broad range of music for classical guitar, either solo or in collaboration with artists such as Julian Bream, Itzhak Perlman and Andre Previn, Paco Pena, Inti Illimani, and numerous others. Classic CD calls him ''the world's most accomplished all-around guitarist.'' For more information and a complete biography on John Williams, please visit www.johnwilliamsguitar.com.
