    David Robertson, conductor Leila Josefowicz, violin Adès - Violin Concerto (''Concentric Paths'') - a Philadelphia Orchestra first performance premiere Favorite guest violinist Leila Josefowicz joins the Philadelphia Orchestra at the final Access Concert of the season as the orchestra discusses young and prominent English composer Thomas Adès, and his daring new Violin Concerto. Orbit the movements of this new work and explore the path of cutting-edge creativity.

    For listeners who are new to, or curious about, classical music, Access Concerts take the audience behind the scenes of the musical process. The 75-minute concerts feature performances of one or two works, preceded by explanations and excerpts. Each Access Concert is followed by an opportunity for the audience to get to know the musicians better through free post-concert events.
