Hold tight as the ordinary turns extraordinary! Catapult from the bustling streets to the skies above Dublin, then plummet deep to the bowels of the earth as three people are ripped from their daily lives and thrown into a fantastical world featuring a lonely young woman looking for love, a mother seeking atonement and a serial killer who has sold his soul to the Devil. The result is an audacious drama of interlocking monologues. Terminus was a roaring hit when it received its world premiere at the Abbey Theatre in 2007 and has since enjoyed hugely successful runs at New York’s Public Theater and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. And now, this innovative and vivid masterpiece kicks off the Annenberg Center’s spring focus on precocious young Irish playwrights. Recommended for mature audiences.
