When Bravo’s Forever Tango first appeared in San Francisco, it ran for an unprecedented 92 weeks before becoming a Broadway favorite. With an 11-piece orchestra featuring the bandoneon as well as other traditional tango instruments, powerful voices and 14 of the world’s finest tango dancers, the show continues to wow audiences across the globe. Steamy and seductive, Forever Tango is not just any tango show but a two hour journey through the history, culture and passion of Argentina with enough sizzling sensuality to raise the temperature and the roof of the Annenberg Center. This is the heat and pizzazz of authentic Argentine tango straight from Buenos Aires complete with fishnet stockings, slicked down hair and lethal legwork as well as free tango lessons in the lobby for all ticket holders! This performance is part of the Dance Celebration Series, presented by Dance Affiliates and the Annenberg Center.
