Get your blankets and picnic baskets ready for Morris Arboretum’s annual outdoor summer concert series. Enjoy two fun Thursday evenings of XPN Kids Corner concerts sponsored by WXPN 88.5FM August 5 & 12. All concerts take place outdoors in the Morris Arboretum’s beautiful Azalea Meadow. Back by popular demand from last year's inaugural kid's concerts are Steve Pullara and His Cool Beans Band that includes a Parents Choice Award-winning three piece band. This band plays fun and hip music drawing from jazz, swing and pop for music fans of all ages. These are tunes for the whole family that will bring out the animal in you. On August 12, meet Miss Amy®, who is on a mission to teach children about being fit! As a mom, a certified fitness instructor and an acclaimed singer/songwriter, her programs appeal to youngsters by engaging imagination to teach basic fitness. Be sure to come early to take part in the Chestnut Hill's Little Treehouse play cafe's tot's sing-a-long and other free extras from 5:30-6:30pm.
