KIDS

For the Family: Craft Experience for Kids
June 27, 2010
Join PAA every last Sunday of the month, during exhibitions, for Craft Experience for Kids. With each changing exhibition, PAA will offer new educational guides and interactive craft activities that parents and kids can enjoy together. For this exhibition's cycle, families will explore the PAA galleries with an educational guide through Andrea Gaydos Landau and Atticus Adams' first floor solo exhibits and up to the group show, Vanitas, on the second floor. Once families have finished exploring the exhibits, PAA will offer a family friendly printmaking workshop on the 3rd floor. Using paper cutouts of patterns derived from the second floor exhibit, kids will create layered screenprints with sponge paints. Families will then be able to take their finished screenprints home with them as a memorable keepsake.
