A publicist at Vintage Books, Sloane Crosley earned comparisons to David Sedaris and Beth Lisick with her debut collection of essays, the New York Times bestseller I Was Told There’d be Cake. Her writing appears in several national publications, including Salon and Maxim. Her new essay collection, How Did You Get this Number, features tales of her run-ins with everything from Portuguese clowns to Alaskan grizzly bears and is written with her trademark charm and dramatic flair.
