Liberty Resources & The Graham Co. is holding a celebration to honor the 20th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in Independence National Historical Park. Philadelphia’s Center for Independent Living, Liberty will partner with other local businesses and non-profits to commemorate this historic achievement. Independence National Historical Park is a highly visible, outdoor, public venue, and various non-profit organizations which work for and with people with disabilities will line the park. The rock band Flame, consisting of 11 musicians with developmental and physical disabilities, will also perform. Although the celebration will be largely picnic style, a private VIP luncheon will be held indoors at the Visitor’s Center for event sponsors and dignitaries. The core of the program will take place from 12:30-1:30 pm.
