Experience Louis, a new silent film with live on-stage musical accompaniment by Wynton Marsalis, his 10-piece ensemble, plus internationally-acclaimed classical pianist Cecile Licad. Created by filmmaker Dan Pritzker and shot by Academy Award-winner Vilmos Zisigmont (Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Deer Hunter, The Black Dahlia). Louis is set in sinful New Orleans in 1907. This sweet, sultry film pays homage to Louis Armstrong, Charlie Chaplin, beautiful women, and the birth of the great American art form, jazz.
