The Clay Studio offers hands-on children’s art experiences from one day hand building workshops to week-long wheel throwing and Claymation camps. The Clay Studio invites students of all ages, skill level and background to come in and learn more about the Family programming during their First Annual Kids Open House. The (Free) Open house is a casual and fun opportunity for kids to play around with clay while their parents explore the school studios, meet instructors and learn more about how they can schedule time for kids to play in the mud this summer! After the open house, be sure to head 1 block over to the Betsy Ross House for Flag Fest, the annual Victorian-style street fair that takes over Arch Street every spring! Meet Uncle Sam, and other celebrities of the time. Marvel at the “newest” inventions, like high-wheel bicycles and the amazing steam car and enjoy the Midway, where both the games and the prices will be a throwback to the Victorian era!
