Former U.S. Lieutenant Matthew Gallagher shares his journey through the Iraq war with his scouting platoon, the Gravediggers, and as an infantry officer in the Wolfhounds. Kaboom began as a real-time blog where Gallagher relayed his experiences supporting the counterinsurgency efforts in Iraq, but was eventually shut down due to controversy.
