Explore the basics of glass art in this exciting new workshop! Learn about types of glass, glass compatibility, and the fusing process. Practice glass safety, gain skills with scoring and breaking glass into desired shapes. After some practice, Fairmount Art Center will introduce fusing and slumping kiln-fired basics and show you how easy and fun the process can be. Make pendants, coasters, and small dishes; they’ll fire them, then you pick them up and “oooh & ahhh” at how cool it is to melt glass!
