Community Arts Center will have four brand new art exhibitions during the month of May, which will focus on pop culture and abstract themes. Featured in the award winning Duke Gallery is “Snap! Crackle! Pop!” with Jeff Schaller, Melody Postma, and Robert Mars. This edgy pop mixed media exhibition will include compositions with old photographs, encaustic work, images evoking America’s past and a collaboration of nine works of art by all three artists. Nancy Markezin, resident of Media will be exhibiting her encaustic work in the Fay Freedman Gallery; the BEAdazzle Artisans’ Boutique will feature Joyce Berger, Swarthmore resident with her abstract acrylic works; and Community Arts Center Abstract Studio students will grace our Stairwell Gallery with their mixed media. In our Main Building Lounge Gallery is an on-going exhibit with Featured Teachers Spring Semester 2010; Pat Scarano with watercolors and ceramics with Nadia W. Bond.
