Probation is part coming-out story and part family chronicle, as protagonist Andy Nocera struggles to find acceptance, redemption and true love. After being arrested for solicitation in a public restroom, Nocera is placed on probation, thrown out by his wife, and fired by his father-in-law. Now living at his mother's house and in counseling, Nocera takes a look inward. Author Tom Mendicino has worked at a variety of New York publishing houses. His work has appeared in several recent anthologies.
