Halloween on the FarmPresented by Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation October 26, 2013 Come and celebrate Trick or Treat at the Plantation. Wear your costume and visit six locations to receive a treat. The children can enjoy candle making, corn husk dolls, a bonfire with a free cup of warm cider, a haunted barn, ghost stories in the springhouse, and story time that includes a visit with the sheep. The farm will also be visited by an old woman who may or may not be a witch. Take part in her trial. Join us for some Halloween fun at the farm!

Militia Muster with the 4th Legionary CavalryPresented by Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation November 9, 2013 Join us for an old fashioned colonial muster. In colonial times, a muster was the gathering of local farmers to drill, work, talk about politics and socialize with good food and music. We will have discussions between loyalist and rebels resulting in a small armed conflict. The women will be working the loom, spinning and processing flax. The men will be working with wood and working in the fields. Tea will be served in the parlor and hearth cooking will take place in the kitchen.
