HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH!

The Greater Philadelphia area is rich with African American history.  Famous civil rights activists like Sam Evans and Cecil B. Moore called the city home, and countless other members of Philadelphia's African American community have made monumental contributions to the city and nation as a whole.

To commemorate these figures and highlight Philadelphia's African American heritage, we've gathered this list of fun and informative Black History Month events happening in and around the city.  Explore, learn, and celebrate!
